Exergy3 - 10M£ Seed round: Why we invested?
Exergy3, a spin-off from the University of Edinburgh, is developing a cutting-edge, ultra-high-temperature (up to 1200°C) thermal energy storage (TES) technology to decarbonize industrial heat. Built on over 15 years of research, their modular system stores renewable electricity as stable, on-demand heat. At Axeleo Capital’s Greentech Industry I fund, we are proud to lead their £10M Seed round, an operation that will accelerate the commercial deployment of the company's first industrial units.
