Axeleo Capital (AXC), a venture capital firm specialized in software and greentech across France and Europe, announces two strategic hires to support its continued growth and operational scaling.

‍Laure Goupil joins Axeleo Capital as Head of Investor Relations. She previously founded and led the Investor Relations department at AVP (formerly AXA Venture Partners), following her role as Vice President at Axonia Partners, a placement agent specializing in fundraising for asset managers across both mature and emerging markets. A graduate of ISC Paris, Laure will oversee Axeleo’s relationships with its community of institutional and private investors, in the context of a rapidly growing platform.

Paul Varrasso joins as Principal, leading deployment efforts for Axeleo’s B2B software fund. He previously worked at Founders Future, where he led several investments in AI and fintech—including Neat, Omny AI, and Volta Software. Paul began his career in Sales Ops at Pumpkin, before moving into tech investment banking at Ader Finance as an analyst. A graduate of CentraleSupélec and KEDGE Business School, Paul brings deep expertise in Vertical SaaS, Fintech, and AI to Axeleo’s investment strategy.

These appointments are fully aligned with our ambition to build a focused, responsible, and pan-European investment platform anchored in sector specialization.

Additionally, Eric Burdier, Founding Partner at Axeleo Capital, was appointed to the board of France Invest under the new presidency of Sophie Paturle (Demeter IM) for a two-year mandate.
