Piloting IT in the Age of AI: Sopht raises €7.5M Series A

We are proud to announce that Sopht, the IT efficiency platform we have backed since Day 1, has raised a €7.5 million Series A co-led by Axeleo Capital (AXC), alongside Ternel, Wind Capital, and FDJ UNITED Ventures.

When we first backed Jérémie Veg and Julien Rouzé, they were already convinced of something the market is only now pricing in: in the AI era, the next competitive edge will not go to the companies that deploy the most technology, but to those that pilot it best. We shared that conviction then. Co-leading this Series A is how we act on it again, with more capital behind the team and a clear path to scale.

AI Is Inflating the Bill

Global IT spend is set to reach $6.31 trillion in 2026, up 13.5% according to Gartner. Yet an estimated 29% of cloud spend is wasted on oversized instances, forgotten resources, and idle environments. It is no surprise that 84% of organizations now rank cloud cost management as their number one challenge. AI only amplifies the problem: AI-related infrastructure costs are set to multiply 24x by 2030.

From Measurement to Action

Most tools stop at the diagnosis: dashboards, reports, alerts. Sopht closes the loop. Founded in Lyon and Paris in 2021, the platform consolidates the entire IT estate (cloud, data centers, workstations, applications) and simulates the impact of every decision in euros and in CO₂. What do you gain by resizing this instance, or shutting down that idle environment? Prioritized recommendations flow straight into the tools teams already use. A well-managed IT environment costs 20 to 30% less, and emits proportionally less carbon.

Traction and a Global Partnership

Sopht already serves more than fifty large enterprises across France, Germany, the UK, and Australia, including LVMH, BNP Paribas, E.ON, Woodside, and the NHS. It enters this new chapter with a global partnership signed with Infosys, opening a worldwide distribution channel and embedding IT efficiency into large-scale transformation programs.

This round will fund new analysis and recommendation capabilities, broader IT coverage, deeper integrations, key hires, and accelerated international growth, increasingly through its systems-integrator partners.

Congratulations to Jérémie, Julien, and the entire Sopht team.

The best is ahead.
